Your models never leave your computer. Here is the little that does, and why.
Complex Chamfer is made by Open Window Entertainment, LLC, of Seattle, Washington ("we"). Last updated 2 November 2026.
Your models
Conversion runs entirely on your computer, in Fusion or in Complex Chamfer Studio. Your designs, files and models are never uploaded to us.
The licence server
To start the trial, activate a key, and check a licence (about once a day), the software sends our licence server at license.complexchamfer.com:
- a machine identifier: a one-way hash of your Windows installation's ID, so a key can be limited to two computers and a trial to one. It can't be turned back into the ID;
- your licence key, when you have one;
- your computer's name, when you activate a key, so you can tell your computers apart when you ask us to free one;
- the software's version. Like any web server, it also sees your IP address.
We keep the machine identifiers, names and keys while the licence exists, and trial start dates so a trial can't be restarted. Trial usage counts are kept on your computer only.
Buying
Stripe processes payments as the merchant of record. It collects your name, email, billing address and payment details under its own privacy policy. Stripe tells us your email, what you bought and its status; we never see your card. We use your email to send your key and to answer support requests.
The website
complexchamfer.com is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes requests (including IP addresses) to serve and protect the site. The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers.
Who we share it with
Only the services above (Cloudflare and Stripe), to run the licence and the sale. We don't sell or rent personal information.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you by emailing support@complexchamfer.com from your purchase email. Deleting it ends any licence tied to it. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, such as the GDPR or the CCPA.
Changes
We'll update this page if any of this changes, with a new date at the top.
